On the evening of April 11, the communication meeting of the 2015 Xiamen Industry Expo and the 19th Cross-straits Machinery and Electronics Exhibition was held at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center. The President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products Zhang Yujing, the Vice Chairman of Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association Cheng Fu-Hsiong and the CPPCC Chairman of Xiaman Municipality Zhang Jian made speeches successively at the meeting. The communication meeting was attended by more than 200 people, including the Chairman of the Straits Exchange Foundation Lin Join-sane, the President of the Association for Relations across the Taiwan Strait Chen Deming and those from the business circle across the strait.
Zhang Yujing said in his speech that, since its establishment in 1997, the Taiwan Trade Fair has always followed the principle of promoting the cross-strait economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, setting up a convenient bridge and a broad stage for the communication, trade and making friends of the machinery and electronics industry across the strait. The Taiwan Trade Fair today has become the most important pageant for the machinery and electronics industry with the strongest brand influence. At the same time, the Taiwan Trade Fair has always followed the development road of professionalization and marketization, and has become a model of the cross-straits practical cooperation.
Before the communication meeting, the Vice Mayor of Xiamen Municipality Zhang Canmin met with the President Zhang Yujing alone, and extended his gratitude to CCCME for its supports and help to the Taiwan Trade Fair for 19 years. Zhang Yujing said that, CCCME has always made efforts to serve the exchanges and cooperation of mechanical and electric enterprises home and abroad, and as one of the sponsors of the Taiwan Trade Fair, CCCME has always made the Taiwan Trade Fair an important work platform. CCCME will continue to play the role of bridge as always, and make full use of its own resources and channels, to provide more practical services to friends in the machinery and electronics industry across the strait, and more support to the development of the Taiwan Trade Fair. CCCME will also strengthen the connections with friends of all industries, and broaden the business opportunities jointly, in order to add vitalities to the cross-strait economic and trade communications and economic development.
